In a Zoo in California a mother tiger gave birth to a rare set of triplet tiger cubs. Unfortunately, due to complications in the pregnancy, the cubs were born prematurely and due to their tiny size they died. After recovering from the delivery, the mother tiger suddenly started to decline in health. The loss of the litter cause her to spiral into depression. The doctors decided if the tigress could surrogate another mother’s cubs, perhaps she could improve. However, not tiger cubs of the right age could be found in other zoos to introduce the mourning mother. But, Sometimes a mother of one species will care for a different species, The only orphans that could be quickly found were a littler of piglets.
